Sacred Ground came to me while reading an article about the oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. Sacred Ground came to me while reading an article about the oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010.  For me it represents our connection to all sentient beings, and how by our actions or inactions, we have the power to impact each other positively, through constant awareness and prayer.  We are all connected in the great web of life. What we do to the earth, we do to ourselves. When we are able to love the earth, we will have learned how to love ourselves.
